I'm Kelsie, the owner, creator, and designer behind The Knotted Salix.  I live in Coldwater, MI with my husband, Lucas, and our two kiddos, Liza & Graham.  I operate out of my workshop which is conveniently located just outside my front door; quietly situated in the middle of open fields.

I have always had a passion for crafting and creating.  I remember some of my favorite gifts being a package of copy paper, markers, and crayons.

I come from a long line of creatives and am surrounded by some amazing talent. My love for wood stems back to my grandfather.  He had an incredible woodworking talent and I consider myself beyond lucky to have inherited a part of that.

My workshop is one place I can go to lose myself in my work.  I love taking a blank piece of wood and transforming it into a piece that can be treasured for years to come.
